The Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong (YIAH) has been an annual flagship event of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) since 1988. It aims to honour outstanding industrialists with significant achievements in industry and commendable contributions to the economic and social development of Hong Kong, as role model to inspire the next generation and arouse their dedication to industry and pursuit of excellence. Since the inception of the awards a total of 199 industrialists have received such recognition. To be eligible for the awards industrialists have to be between the ages of 21 and 45 and the holder of Hong Kong Identity Card.
Industrialist of the Year (IOY) Award, which is open to industrialists of all ages, was first presented in 2002. A single industrialist each year is distinguished for his/her exceptional contribution to Hong Kong’s industries, economy and community.
