Chan Hok-yiu, Victor is the chairman and CEO of A-Max Technology Ltd. Mr Chan graduated with degrees in computer and electrical engineering and industrial management of Purdue University, Indiana.

To cope with the business development, Mr Chan has established R&D centres in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Taiwan and Livingston in Scotland. He had led the Shenzhen plant to successfully acquire accreditation of ISO9001:2000, ISO14001, RoHS, Sony OEM Green Partner and CCC (China Compulsory Product Certification). Other international expansion includes the setting up of sales offices in Germany, the US, Japan and Macau. Having expanded its industrial base, A-Max now supplies ODM products to many widely-recognized brands in the US, Europe, Japan and China. In March 2005, A-Max announced its entering into a strategic partnership with SigmaTel for the development and manufacture of portable digital audio devices.

Mr Chan places great emphasis on offering customers complete end-to-end solutions, wherever they are in the world. This involves developing a wide range of valued-added design services that include mechanical engineering, tooling, electrical engineering and software design. His latest initiative has been leading A-Max's R&D team in the development of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology for automobile products, an initiative that is both improving road safety and adds to driving pleasure.
