Mr Jeffrey Lam has dedicated himself to the toy manufacturing industry. He is highly concerned for the industry’s development, and plays an active role in public and community service. Mr Lam is currently a Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee member, HKSAR Legislative Councillor, chairman of the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation’s advisory committee, the general committee member of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Hong Kong Plastics Manufacturers Association, and the honorary chairman of the Toys’ Manufacturers Association of Hong Kong.

Throughout the years, Mr Lam has attained significant achievements in the toy industry. He was awarded the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong in 1989, and the Outstanding Award – Hong Kong Toy Industry in 1999.

Mr Lam’s contributions to the society are also highly appreciated. In 1996, he was appointed Justice of the Peace and awarded an MBE. In 2004, he was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star Award. Moreover, he was made an Academician of Tufts University in the US and Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997 and in 2000 respectively.
